Stone Horus has partnered with its local Brazilian partners, Carolina Brasil and Anselmo Martini are associate producers.
Brazilian actor, Felipe Camargo portrays the protagonist in the movie “Son of the Mangrove,” directed by Eliane Caffé. He plays a dishonest fisherman who appears wounded and without memory in a riverside community. The residents accuse the character of theft and subject him to a public trial. Consequently, issues such as misappropriation of public funds, domestic violence, and human trafficking come to light.
Also starring in the film are Titina Medeiros, Jeniffer Setti, Thiago Justino, Roney Villela, Luana Cavalcante. The screenplay, written by Luiz Alberto Abreu, is based on the book “Capitão” – Captain by Sergio Prado.
